Story

Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by, please read on and hopefully be persuaded to part with a little of your cash for an incredibly worthy cause..

Although only 42 I've already had to have both my hips replaced in the last two years due to osteoarthritis. Before my first surgery I walked with a stick and on really bad days had to go up the stairs on all fours. However, courtesy of our fabulous NHS and the incredible support of Arthritis Research UK, I was able enough to celebrate a successful total left hip replacement by completing the 2012 Brighton Marathon. Last summer whilst everyone else was glued to the Olympics I had my remaining knackered right hip replaced too. Now Im sporting the most incredible pair of bionic hips and lucky enough to be living a pain-free, totally mobile life!

Please help me give something back by supporting my fundraising efforts and donating whatever you can to Arthritis Research UK. By doing so you’ll be helping them to continue their excellent work in providing a more comfortable future for the many people, both old and young, for whom there is no relief from the debilitating effects of arthritis.

And please don't worry if you're a bit strapped for cash, honestly even a 50p or £1 donation is fantastic and will be so welcome. Just click on the orange DONATE button top right & away you go!

Thanks so much for your support, Michelle xx (Bionic Hips Horton)
