Dear friends & colleagues,

I will be running the London Marathon on 24th April 2016, as well as the adidas Silverstone Half Marathon on 13th March to help Shooting Star Chase raise funds to provide care to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Shooting Star Chase's support is free of charge to families and available 365 days a year. Their care service includes short breaks at two hospices, Hospice at Home, day care, symptom management, end-of-life care, bereavement care and a comprehensive range of therapies and support groups for the whole family.

Only 10% of SSC's income comes from government funding - they rely on donations to maintain their current level of care which costs £10 million to maintain every year.
