Hi folks!
Yes, I have finally gone bonkers and have challenged myself to do the Welsh Three Peaks on Saturday 11th June 2011 in aid of Schoolchildren for Children where I will be climbing Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in the North, Cadair Idris in mid-Wales, and Pen y Fan in the South. Starting at Pen y Fan in the South and ending at Snowdon in the North, I aim to complete this challenge in 14 hours.
It would be very much appreciated if you could give as generously as you can for this very worthy cause and help me raise my target ..... whilst you think about me huffing and puffing away on some mountain!
Thank you for your support!

Schoolchildren for Children (ScfC) is a registered charity operating in Wales. The ScfC aim is to promote health & fitness in our schools and sports clubs while benefiting disadvantaged children worldwide. ScfC currently organises a number of projects around the world and especially in Nairobi, Kenya where a large number of the projects are concentrated in two of Africa’s largest slums Kibera and Korogocho.
The homework and after school clubs programme for example is an innovative concept - ScfC support covers the costs of text books, desks and chairs, secure library storage space and electric lighting. There is also a study programme of life skills support such as substance abuse education and HIV/Aids awareness programmes and the pupils also spend time creating music and drama and at weekends there are sports teams and coaching opportunities. All these projects can be viewed on the website www.schoolchildrenforchildren.org
One of the dedicated mission statements of ScfC is that none of the monies raised by young people will be used for administrative purposes which are entirely covered by individual patrons and Trustees.
