Story

My story
I have a debilitating disease called Crohn's disease, it's part of a number of bowel conditions called IBD's (inflammatory bowel disease). I have been diagnosed with this condition for almost 6 years an had 3 operations because of it. I am participating in this 10k walk in May with my husband Ken, 1 year old daughter Demelza and fur baby Lexi the dog. My family and friends are so supportive when I am flaring and I couldn't do half the things I do without them.
My sister also has Crohn's disease so struggles sometimes too, she also has had a operation since being diagnosed. I would really love to help find a cure for IBD with the money that is raised, so I would be very grateful for anything you can spare. It may not be a terminal illness but it's chronic one that affects thousands of people all over the world.
