Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit our page. On 4 July 2010 we are running the Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10k with team Macmillan in memory of Michelle's Dad, Michael Hoaksey.  Michael lost his brave battle with cancer in March 2009 and Macmillan were a vital support network to our family in what was a deeply sad and difficult time.

Michael's Macmillan nurse Amanda was always on hand for Michael and our family, now this is our chance to give something back to such an amazing charity and hopefully raise vital funds to help other families battling this devastating disease.  If you can we would really appreciate a donation every penny helps.

This is a big challenge for us also, Gav has been training hard and has taken on the role of personal trainer for Michelle, with the emergency services still on alert our training continues as the big day approaches this weekend.... We are really looking forward to being part of the event and doing our bit. Michelle also ran the race for life with her Mum, Auntie Anne and friends this year so please dig deep and donate anything you can!
