Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The only official marathon I have ever run was in London in 2016 and in the end that was under quite difficult circumstances. I did it though and finished with a smile raising loads of money in memory of my brilliant dad.

In July 2019, I was delighted to gain a place to run with team 2020. I went from running no miles a week to running 90+ miles a week by early May 2020. The pandemic intervened and during the 2020 10in10 dates in May I managed to run 5 marathons and 5 half marathons alone from my front door during the lockdown.
As the lockdown eased, I was all set to run with the team on 23rd Oct in a new landscape, but a freak accident smacking my ankle with a heavy suitcase In August caused a serious fracture that has put pay to running or anything more strenuous than walking until at least December 18th.
So, I’m almost back to square one with fewer months to get myself ready for the challenge ahead...my head and my heart are more than ready to take this challenge on...so lock up your suitcases and let’s do this!
