Story
This is the first and only marathon I am EVER going to do!
I have chosen to raise funds for two charities (which I've had to set-up on two separate entries) that are important to me.
Severn Hospice looked after one VERY special lady, Jean Brackenbury, in her final weeks and I would like this to be a thank you for all that they did for her, and continue to do for others and also as a thank you to Jean for enriching my life. Donations via this page.
The Children's Trust raises funds that will help people like little Henry Marsh and his family through some very difficult times. Henry contracted Ecoli and a disease called HUS which attacks the kidneys, stomach and brain some 12 months ago. I have had the pleasure of working with his dad, Phil, and I see the marathon as an opportunity to provide support that just might make a difference. Donations can be made via Michelle-Warner6.
Life is fragile. We can all be affected and we can all do our bit to try to help. Knowing that I'm playing a small part in supporting these amazing charities will keep me strong throughout the rest of my training and on race day itself.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. If you are able to make a small contribution to either charity, it will be greatly appreciated.
