Story
A bunch of like minded (some May say crazy)people who go to Tribe Training and like a bit of exercise and fun had a great idea!
Why not do a difficult challenge and raise money for a local charity too...so we are taking the plunge and tackling Only the Brave for East Anglian Air Ambulance on 24 September 2023.
Tw of the team are taking on the 10 mile course, the other 24 are tackling the 6 mile obstacle course..with up to 35 obstacles to tackle.
it will involve lots of mud, water, climbing things, crawling under things and did we mention the mud again!
And the reality is that over half of the membership at Tribe are 40+, we try our best to stay fit and healthy which is why we go, but in reality we also know that the local Air Ambulance could be the ultimate difference to us if something happens to us.
It’s a service we hope never to have to use but want to help raise fund a to make sure it is still there if ever we need emergency help, especially in our rural areas.
East Anglian Air Ambulance receives no regular government funding and relies entirely on the support of the community.
The crews are tasked an average of 8 times a day across the two bases, with each mission costing in the region of £3,750. They can reach anywhere in the region within 25 minutes when every second can make the difference to a patient in their time of need.
