Fundraising for Barnardo's
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are running London marathon in April 2017 to raise money for Barnardos children's charity.
I am running London marathon in memory of a good friend of mine, Tony Munson, who passed away suddenly in 2012.
Tony always shared what a fantastic childhood he had living in a Barnardos home. He grew up in a Barnardos home from the age of six with his two brothers and shared great stories of his younger days.
Tony Munson was a caring, entertaining, charming man and is thought about and missed every single day by his family and friends.
Barnardos gave him, his brothers & so many other young children a home in their early years and they continue to provide fantastic support in so many different ways to this day.
A little bit about Barnardos...........
Barnardos are committed to helping children throughout the UK and support in many ways including finding carers, developing life & work skills, fostering & adoption, supporting families to name a few.
