WELCOME to my page!

Sadly I lost my dear sister Lisa last May to breast cancer. Initially, we were told it was caught early but shortly afterwards we discovered it had already spread to her bones and were given the terminal diagnosis. She never stood a chance. We all tried to adjust to life not knowing how long she had. As Lisa once said, she was given a death sentence. The following February, everything changed forever when she suddenly became seriously unwell, the cancer was now in her brain. We brought Lisa home where she fought long and hard but the cancer finally took her from us just 3 months later in May. She had not long turned 39 years of age and left behind 2 young daughters aged 10 and 5.

Lisa was the bravest and most courageous woman and we are very proud of her. I want to do something spectacular for not just Lisa but for every person that have been or affected by this disease to help in any way that I can. Its too late to help Lisa but I don’t want anyone to have to go through what we all have and still enduring. I want people and their families to receive the help and support they so desperately need at an extremely terrifying time, where you feel utterly alone.

So, I am going to throw myself out of a plane for Breast Cancer Care, you can’t get more spectacular than that!!!! I will not be alone, I will be doing it with friends (who may need to push me!!). The charity is there for anyone affected by breast cancer. They bring people together; provide information and support and campaign for improved standards of care. Raising money ensures that those affected by this horrible disease receive support and information when they need it most. I have to raise a minimum of £395 to do the jump (£140 only goes to the charity and the remainder is for the jump). Any donations over this £395, every PENNY goes to the charity.
