Story
Hello to you the visitor to our page!!
We (Michelle, Phil and Hannah) are going to embark on an 8 mile bike ride from Rhyl to Prestatyn and back to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of our Dad and Grandad, Ray Foster.
Ray died in October 2008 at the age of 62 of a massive heart attack. He left a loving wife Winnie, three children, myself Michelle, daughter Karen and son Carl and two grandchildren Jonathan and Hannah. He was a well known figure in the local rugby community with playing and coaching at Haresfinch and Blackbrook and he was also actively involved with the local heart charity, Heartbeat.
My Dad did benefit from having a heart bypass in 2000 which prolonged his life so that he could give me away to Phil on our wedding day, to see our son Jonathan grow up into a teenager and to see our daughter Hannah born. There are a lot more things/events I would love to tell him about and for him to be witness to but I do know he is around somewhere and he will be by our side during this bike ride to help us get to the finish line. We all miss and love you lots Dad!! xxx
