From volunteering with RESTART LIVES for the past couple of months, I have seen the positive impact this small charity is making.

At RESTART's drop-in space (located just opposite KS, in the lower hall of St Columba's Church), free hot meals are provided weekly to over 70 people who are facing rough sleeping, sofa-surfing and other challenges with their accommodation. 

Once getting to know their guests, the staff will then offer personalised and more longer-term advice and support to individuals who are in need and wanting to make a change.
