Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Two years ago, when the last Maccabi Fun Run took place, I ran 10km for The Together Plan, a very special charity to which I regularly volunteer time.  It has been an extremely challenging 18 months for The Together Plan and all the amazing projects they organise, so now that we have lived through the pandemic and come out the other side, I have decided to run 10k again! This is not only as a personal fitness challenge, but also to mark my 60th birthday earlier this year. 

Though I am running to raise much needed funds for all of their projects, two projects sit particularly close to my heart:  

• The Archive Service - through which I not only found long lost cousins and family, but also discovered that two sides of my own family originated from Minsk, Belarus.

• Building the Cultural Heritage Route through Belarus - https://thetogetherplan.com/community/route-through-belarus/. A major part of culture and community life is food, so I am using my foodie skills to help build a culinary trail as a formal part of this incredible Route.
