On 31st March 2023, Stephen Bernard Platt (Steve), our loving dad, husband, grandfather and brother, was devastatingly diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD).  He was admitted into St Cuthbert’s Hospice for the final six weeks of his life, where he sadly passed away on 14th May 2023 with his family around him.  

Every member of staff at the hospice were amazing and we can’t thank them enough for the care and support they provided to Steve and his loved ones during this difficult time. 

A Living Well Centre day costs £650 per day and In-Patient Unit care costs £1,650 per day at St Cuthbert’s.  We would love to be able to give something back to this amazing charity and hope you can support us in doing so.
