Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My wife's Dad found out he had a brain tumour on the 5th November 2016. After having it fully removed on the 2nd December, we got the devastating news that he had a Glioblastoma, or in simple terms Grade 4 Brain cancer. Its been a tough journey, having had two more surgeries and IV antibiotics because of an infection. After a year of doing fairly well, unfortunately the tumour has started to grow back and he is now on chemotherapy to try and keep it at bay.
My wife and her sister have raised nearly £3000 for the Brain Tumour Charity so far, so me and Graham are doing our bit and taking on the Ride London 100 challenge
Cancer Research funding only dedicates 2% of its funding to brain tumour research. Although brain is not the most common of cancers, its a pretty serious one!
