Story

It’s now year 9 and this year we are aiming to run a portion of the Dublin Women’s Mini Marathon, some of it, in fact most of it we will be walking.  This year I am walking/running with my two great  friends Milena (her 3 year) and Clare (her 1 year).  Together we are all walk/running for a very worthy cause, I have supported for many years, the Southern Area Hospice. 2012 will be the 30 year of the Flora Dublin 10K Women’s Mini Marathon and over the last 29 years it has become one of the world’s largest all women’s event and the three of us want to be a part of it.

Southern Area Hospice Services (SAHS) provides invaluable support and care to people living within the Southern Health Board Area, who are suffering from Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and AIDS. Our aim is to provide the best quality of life for our patients and their families.  All Services for the SAHS are provided free of charge and but they rely heavily on voluntary donations to continue providing our special care.  Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and helping others by donating to a great cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please dig deep and donate now, all donations will be very much appreciated and certainly push us to that finish line another year for a very special cause.  Thank you all very much in advance, Michelle, Milena and Clare x
