I have decided to do this because cancer has well and truly came into our lives over the past few months. My Mum was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in September 2011.

I have decided to raise money for people like my Mum that  are waiting for a cure for this horrible disease. It's not nice watching some one go through all the treatments. So if I can raise just a few pound to maybe getting one step closer to finding a cure or to help some one that is going through this horrible disease at the moment then I am doing it.

I've decided that I'm going to give up something I love for seven weeks starting on the first of february and ending on the fourteenth of March I am going to give up all sweeties, chocolate and fizzy juice ( including alcohol) completely.

I'd also like to put in here, that although my mum is undergoing chemotherapy at the moment, she always comes through smiling, it keeps her going and it definitely keeps us going. To go through treatment and still come through smiling must take courage and determination.
