Story
I am taking part in the Sunflower Walk this year in memory of my beloved Dad, Ron, who we lost from Cancer just before lockdown last year. The wonderful team at Mountbatten Hospice were there through the last few weeks of his life and it is the care and support they gave him and us was incredible. I want to give something back to the charity and this is my chance to help make a difference to other people who are inthe same position with life limiting illnesses.
£100 could provide a course of bereavement support sessions £200 could give someone a day of personal care, helping them remain in the comfort of their own home. £250 could pay for a Mountbatten Nurse to be with a dying patient at home during the night, £350 could pay for a 24-hour stay in a bed on their hospice ward, just like my Dad did.
