Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
11 years ago my grandfather passed away after being diagnosed with dementia. He left a massive hole in my heart, now my Nan, his wife after having a stroke back in March is about to be diagnosed with dementia too.
I am running to raise awareness and much needed funds to provide support for those with this horrible disease, a disease which is irreversible, a disease which strips you of your independence and memory leaving you vulnerable and scared. It is a horrible way to see someone live out their last years.
I really hope I can raise money to help give support and comfort to those in need.
