Myself & a group of work friends are taking on the Sparkle Night Walk 2022 in memory of my mum Janice who passed away at home from Cancer in Feb 2021 & also Karen's Dad Alan. Mum was always an active person so to suddenly be faced with Cancer & the pandemic was especially difficult for her as she wasn’t able to see her friends as normal.  Ashgate Hospice were very supportive & provided a valuable lifeline for mum towards the end, they provided everything mum needed to to stay at home & be as comfortable as possible.  Ashgate’s specialised nurses came to see mum weekly & were always there for a chat which she appreciated. When mum passed they were there to support me with my grief.
