As you may already be aware, I have been selected to represent Team GB as part of a 200 strong delegation at the forthcoming European Maccabi Games, that will take place between the 5th - 13th July 2011 in Vienna. More than 2500 Jewish athletes from across Europe will come together in Vienna, Austria to take part in many different sporting activities, from football to fencing, taekwondo to table tennis and from golf to track and field.

I will be a part of the women’s football team led by Brad Solomon, Ladies Football Manager.

For this event each player needs to raise £1750 to cover the cost of their flight, accommodation, food, kit & insurance. I will be taking part in a community fun run on Sunday 29^th May 2011, in which all funds raised will go towards the MaccabiGB charity and my personal participation fee. In order for me to secure my place with Team GB, I ask for any donations that you are able to give to support my cause.
