Story

I'm inspired by my father-in-law, Lino Mascotto's determination and grit to remain active - even at 92 years of age! That's why I'm choosing to participate in Fit For Care's virtual Fitness Challenge.

Beginning Sept. 5, 2022, I will complete 30 minutes of activity for 5 days each week until the Family Celebration event on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at McCormick Home.

That's a total of 30 min x 35 days or 1,050 minutes of exercise!

Last year, Fit for Care raised enough money to purchase a WisperGlide Wheelchair Swing and fund approximately 3-months of additional life enrichment activities and programs.

This year's goal is to double this and fund up to 8 months of programs and services vital to enhancing person-centered care that enriches the lives of residents like Lino, and many, many others through physical exercise, social and spiritual interactions, and brain stimulation exercises.

Thank you for making a donation to help me achieve my fundraising goal and for supporting my sweat...and tears! Check back here to stay updated on my Fitness Challenge.

With gratitude,

Michelle
