I am raising money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. In 2018, SSAFA helped more than 82,000 people in need, from Second World War veterans to those who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families. Our family is one of those 82,000. They helped Fred move into his flat and have made his life so different to the way it was. He has been given back his independence so by raising more money hopefully we can help other families too. Even though Fred was not serving at the time this charity continued to help and support.
