Story

Update:  Flight has been postponed due to high winds being forecast.  New date to follow!

On 11th June 2022 I will be taking to the skies on the wings of an airplane in order to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

As many of you will know, this charity is close to my heart having lost my younger brother to lymphoblastic leukaemia in 1996. I don't like flying at the best of times so this event will be a challenge for me but hopefully a great experience too.  Please dig deep and sponsor me in order to support The Royal Marsden and the great work they do! Every penny will be greatly appreciated.

Brambletye is delighted that this year's (2021-2022) chosen school charity is The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The charity was nominated by Head of Lower School, Mr Brundish, along with the help of one of our pupils who received support from The Royal Marsden during her fight against lymphoblastic leukaemia. Together they felt it is time to give something back and are determined to work alongside the whole Brambletye community over the course of this academic year to raise as much as we possibly can for this wonderful charity. There are already a number of activities to look forward to including the Barking Mad Dog Show, Burns Night Dinner, Summer Concert and Art Auction. We also look forward to adding some new fundraising initiatives throughout the year.
