Story
We are taking part in the Glow Walk for Acorns in memory of Steven Steadman who we sadly lost in 2011. When Steven was 16, he recieved end of life care at Acorns Selly Oak after being diagnosed with a brain tumour when he was 6. Every year since he has passed as a family we take part in a walk for Acorns in Ste's memory and to help other families. Although this year is different and we are unable to complete a walk as a big group. This year only a small group of us Karen, Charlie, Christine, Kelly and myself will be dressing in glow-in-the-dark outfits/accessories and walking 5km around our area. We will be raising funds to help keep the Black Country Hospice doors open to local families, who rely upon the care and support our hospice provides.
By sponsoring us you could contribute to the following:>£3 could help us be there for siblings who need our support >£5 could help ensure that families don't go through grief alone >£15 could help us create magical memories for children in the Black Country >£25 could help us deliver vital support to a Black Country family in need >£50 could help us provide specialised end of life care to a local childThank you for helping Acorns in the Black Country to continue to be there for the children that need us.
