I chose to support St John Ambulance this year because they've tirelessly supported every race I've ever been to - I thankfully haven't had to use their services yet but have seen them care for many a weary/injured runner and in extreme cases they provide life saving support.  It's reassuring to know that they are there to care for us - and I wanted to take this opportunity to say 'thank you' to such a worthwhile charity.
