Story
Just over a year ago, we lost Addie. It’s still shockingly painful to write these words. Daily my eyes fill with tears and my heart breaks as we continue to adjust to life without her. It’s not easy and we will never recover – our lives are changed forever!
What a kid she was, one of a kind, truly something so very special. From the moment she arrived in this world, she had a twinkle in her eyes and a cheeky smile you couldn’t forget. She was beautiful in every way.
Let’s not forget her...Please help me raise much needed funding for the Addie Brady Foundation at the Brain Tumour Charity. The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. They fund pioneering research to increase survival, raise awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours and provide support for everyone affected to improve quality of life. They are committed to having the biggest possible impact for every person affected by a brain tumour, and to defending the most amazing part of the human body.
Back in 2016, I ran my first and only marathon, in London. Addie was there, with sister Skylar and Dad Tara cheering me on; I heard Addie before I saw her; she was screaming like a looney and gave me the biggest kiss and hug. Please come along, cheer me on, give me a hug, I think I'll need one – I think it’s going to be tough this time around!
