UPDATE
Originally planned for April 2020, following several date changes and injury I will now be running in Paris (fingers crossed) in April 2021!
A few months before she passed I told Abi I would be running the Paris Marathon and asked her to nominate the charity I should run for. Without hesitation she said Sue Ryder.
We sadly lost Abi on 8 November 2019 - she was just 43.
Abi was a dear colleague and friend. One of the first people I met when I started People Essentials 9 years ago. I’ll remember her as a prolific networker, professional recruiter, a lover of the gym, good food, cream teas, bubbles’ and a good giggle. I’ll also remember her for her ‘positive pants’ which helped her throughout her 3 year illness.
Any support you can give to this wonderful charity would be gratefully received.
Thank you.
Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
