Rainbow Ramble 2015 · 25 April 2015 ·
Our daughter sustained a significant brain injury during birth. The days after her birth were full of bad news, lists of things our daughter would never be able to do. Our hearts were broken as were the rest of our family's.
The weeks turned into months and development was slow but she was clearly a fighter and we knew she had the potential to make her own history and prove medics wrong. That's when we found rainbow house and thank goodness we did.
Jessica now attends two weekly sessions of conductive education which help to teach her to do the things that we were told she'd never do. Her head control significantly improved within weeks of her starting at the legacy and she can now bare her own weight and can stand with only light support.
The legacy has not only changed Jessica's life and lots of her friends lives too but it is also a really important place for parents to be. So many friendships have been forged within its walls, ones that will be cherished forever.
Rainbow house needs every penny we can raise to continue helping children like Jessica to achieve their potential and to help them to be as independent as possible.
We realise we've asked you to help before but if you can donate whatever you can spare it really would be awesome. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts xx
