This is a special opportunity for people to come together and walk through the night in memory of a loved one whilst raising funds to support other bereaved families at Kingston Hospital.

Story

We are taking part in a special memory walk, Night to Remember, on Saturday 10 September and shall be walking through the night in suport of all the key workers who risked their lives and those who lost them in the pandemic.

Kingston Hospital strives to deliver the best care for both its patients and their families, and bereavement can be extremely challenging, whether it involves a child or an elderly relative or friend.  We want to raise funds to help Kingston Hospital extend its support for all bereaved families across the hospital -support that would not normally be covered by its NHS funding.

As a Hospital Governor and a Volunteer on the Discharge Support Service Michelle has been stunned by the extraordinary performance of Kingston Hospital staff throughout the pandemic and their ability to continually innovate, collaborate and strive for the best services for patients in the hardest of conditions.
