As a child in the sixties two of my friends were robbed of their father to MND one minute he was a big strong man and the next he declined and needed care and sadly passed at a very young age..  It’s one of the most horrible diseases and a cure is desperately needed.  Finding a cure for MND may even unlock cures for other conditions.

Firstly I’m taking part in the Doddie Gump from the 1st of January to the 6th February.  World in a Day on the 29th January and then take part in the Doddie Ride on the 17th of July and complete the 93 mile route.  These challenges  shall still be tough thanks to my ME and Pulmonary Sarcoidosis but nothing compared to the daily challenge someone with MND or their family has to cope with.
