Helloooo

Thanks for dropping by to laff at the photo if nothing else, this being the 4th year (!!!) I've completely run out of witty things to say.  So.. can I ask you once again to part with some of your money and I in turn will get my butt out of bed and around a large lake in the middle of Hyde Park - I promise to complete 10k in as quick a time as possible, and you can take pride in the fact that you are helping me to be "fit at 40", as I have trained for this one. 

This year myself and my friend Vanessa have joined forces, although think of her as the hare and me the tortoise.  We have also chosen a different charity - The National Deaf Children's Society.  I already donate to them on a monthly basis, though have to admit this was because they caught up with me in the street after I had had my hair done and were very complimentary (yes, I'm a sucker).  Have to say my experience of them thus far is lovely - they rarely haggle for more money and often send appreciative letters in the post. 

So generous, beautiful, fabulous people, whom I am most fortunate to call my friends... I know I ask every year, but it's only the once.  If you donate a smidgen of your hard earned cash Bupa will generously match what we raise... so our target of £250 would equal £500. :)
