Story
As most of you know, my oldest brother Dean was diagnosed with this condition at the beginning of the year. He had been struggling with injuries and pain for around 3 years and they finally found out it was MS. This was a major blow for him and all the family, especially because he has always been super fit. He's the main reason i fell in love with climbing hills and finding a love for the outdoors and have shared many amazing adventures around Scotland together. He may not manage the big days we done before but he's a fighter and will continue to tackle what hills he can.
You never really think something like this will ever happen to you or someone close and now that it has, I would like to try and raise awareness of the condition and of course raise some funds towards finding cures and supporting people suffering from it. Medicines are advancing all the time and there is definitely hope for him and the future.
London marathon is something that has always caught my eye purely for the massive buzz and atmosphere that surrounds it. I'm not a long distance runner but I'm determined to put in the months of hard work and training and hope I can do him proud on the big day. With your help we can try and stop MS together. Thanks for reading.
