Story
So, last year my Grandad sadly lost his life to cancer (I know, not a chipper way to start this story). Macmillan were there at the end to make sure his final days were as comfortable as possible. He passed peacefully in his sleep in a warm hospice rather than a hospital bed, and Macmillan were there again to support and care for my parents after the fact.
So I want to do my bit to raise a little money for Macmillan. When deciding what I could do, I thought about running, swimming or another physical activity to raise money, however I don't want to end up in hospital. So instead I'm going to play video games for 24 hours. One video game specifically - Destiny 2: Forsaken on the 5th September 2018. It shall be a challenge in its own right, but it's quite literally the least I could do (barring eating a whole cheesecake for charity) for a great cause.
Anything you can spare to donate will go a long way to let other families get the support and care through such a difficult time, like my family got. So if you do have any spare pennies, I would be hugely grateful for your donation.
