For almost ten years I have been involved in the very demanding International Foundation Bike rides to help my favourite charity at the Sunderland Foundation of Light. With the remarkable support of friends and the local business community I have been able to raise several thousand pounds to help this wonderful charity. That feels good. 

My bones are telling me the upcoming 275 miles and over 20,000 ft of climbing over four days is madness but I want to make one last push to aid a charity helping so many less fortunate than myself. 

If you can help in any small way with this challenge as my sponsor I would be so grateful. As a volunteer and ambassador for the Foundation I see daily how peoples lives are so positively affected by such generous donations and I can only thank you all for your help.
