On June 13th I am attempting to ride 100miles (target time 6hrs 30 mins) in the Northern Rock Cyclone challenge. I chose to raise funds for the great North Air Ambulance as I have seen them in action twice one of the times transporting a friend to hospital after a bad fall (in an egg & spoon race at Bolum Lake in Northumberland !) Hopefully I will not need them on the day.
