Story
Well, finally done it and made it round in one piece!! There were over 12,000 people running, so it was a great crowd and lots of supporters. I kept going all the way and had both pockets full of jelllybeans, which was the only thing that kept me going!!
My final time was 2:04 hours, which I am pretty chuffed with. It was a huge effort on the last few miles to keep the pace up, and I was on my last drop by the end. Now completely shattered and very glad that I will not be running again any time soon.
Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored me, helping to raise money for Hop Skip and Jump. We hit over £2,870, which is an incredible total and extremely generous of so many people.
This will be hugely appreciated by all the parents, children and staff at Hop Skip and Jump and will do a great amount to help fund the brilliant support that they offer to those not as lucky as ourselves.
Thank you, thank you!!
Michael
