**Update - As some of you know my wonderful children put on a fundraising day at their school on Friday 11 November in memory of their Daddy.  To say I am so very proud of them is an understatement!  They give me a shimmer of light in such a devastating time.**

But there are some days where life is just about putting one foot in front of the other.

And that’s okay.

My Michael was a truly amazing man, in every single way. He was the most selfless person I've ever known. He was a fantastic Daddy, husband, son, brother and friend anyone could ask for.

In lieu of flowers for Michael's funeral Michael would have preferred if people made donations to charity. Help for Heroes is a charity Michael was very proud to have supported and even after falling asleep he would have wanted to make a difference. 

Myself, Louie and Jessie have a very difficult time ahead of us, but we are blessed to have had Michael in our lives, even if it's been cut far too short.
