Right, so here it is! You've made it this far so there's not much else to do if you'd like to sponsor me doing the Great North Run.

As many of you may or may not know, my Mum suffered from breast cancer a few years back and was lucky enough to battle through it. I thought it was high time that I did something to try, in whatever way I can, to help those who suffer and stop those suffering in the future. Although it mainly affects women (the most common of cancers to strike women) more men than you think get breast cancer each year. The simple lesson is to look after one another's boobs! Stats say that we all directly know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer so please assist me in trying to do my bit. There are no starving africans, no gimmicks, just support for those in need.

Anything you give will be greatly appreciated by both me and the charity. It will also spur on a fourteen stone lad over the line in Newcastle on 5th October.
