On April 9th this year it was the 5th anniversary since Turnsy left us. I've ran a couple of times in this Run and urge anyone else thinking about it to definitely give it a go. Turnsy was a massive Sunderland fan who wasn't a particularly big fan of anything in the Black & White variety so naturally in his honour I'll be running the streets of South Tyneside in my Sunderland shirt.

Turnsy was a talented teacher and loved his job so Denise & Frank, Turnsy's Mam & Dad adopted Make A Wish in his memory and it's only right we raise some cash in his name.

I'll try and beat my PB of 1:53 which after three years of a concentrated diet of Curry and Abduls Chicken Kebabs, will be a challenge
