A little bit about me:-   Why on earth have I decided to cycle to Paris?

I enjoy a challenge and doing things for charity (The London Marathon, 1998, 4:47:23, Crisis Open Christmas). I saw this cycle ride in the Crisis Newsletter http://www.crisis.org.uk/page.builder/london_Paris_info.html   and thought it would be a fun thing to do, bought a bike (my first since I was a wee lad), joined a club and now I'm in training. Cycling there is the easy bit...the hard bit is training and this fundraising.

Please try to sponsor me. What's the "going rate"? Well, it's 300 miles there so I suggest anything between 1-10p per mile.
