Story

You never think that in your early 20's that one of your best friends is going to fiercely battle against Leukemia.

Vickie had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on September 4th 2012. At just 23 years old Vickies first chemo had failed and her only chance was a bone marrow transplant. This took place on Christmas day 2012 and by April 2013 she was in remission! We were all ecstatic, Vickie had been helping her sisters arrange their parents wedding renewal and making plans for celebrating her birthday out in Birmingham. This summer was going to be AWESOME......and it was...... filled with Disney on ice, vodka redbull, girls nights out, girls nights in, eating out and celebrations!

In September 2013 Vickie was told she had relapsed and there was nothing more they could do. Vickie fought so hard in the last three months trying trial drugs but it wasn't to be. Vickie lost her battle on Tuesday 10th December 2013.

This summer (June 28th) we are walking up snowdon the biggest mountain in England and Wales to raise money. Vickie had her whole life ahead of her, we hope that one day there will be a cure and nobody has to die this young.

To the  bravest girl I know, until we meet again miss you millions and love you more  xXx

Thank you all for coming on here and making your donation in memory of Vickie.
