Hello! Due to a series of unlikely events I'm doing the GNR for CAFOD - my running aim is to get heavy bulk over the Tyne Bridge and into South Shields to catch the ferry home without dying. It's a reasonable question as to why I'm running for CAFOD. The short version is that CAFOD to me reminds me of my childhood and, in a round about why, my granddad Ken. I'll say I'm running for him.Below is the info CAFOD supply about why you send them a little of your cash.
I'm running the Great North Run for CAFOD. Please sponsor me and together we can help children like Lombeh:Lombeh was dangerously malnourished as a baby. She was so small she almost died.Lombeh's mum, Amie, told us: The sickness was just getting worse and we were scared. Thankfully, Amie and a small team of local health experts made sure Lombeh got the support she needed. Now, she's big and strong.
