I've set this page up in the memory of my sister Barbara who died on her 61st birthday 8th June 2016. For those of you who knew Barbara well you will remember how organised she was at work and at home. She always liked things planned well in advance and including our holidays which she would book a year in advance. When Barbara knew she was dying she made her husband Les promise to continue to fulfil the dreams that they should have been sharing together. One of the trips would have been an escorted tour of Peru ending at Machu Picchu, the ruined Inca city high in the mountains. Les decided to get to  Machu Picchu via the Inca trail a 4 day hike at high altitude. Barbara and Les's two sons David and Stephen and are going to do the hike with him. So the 4 of us are doing the hike in May this year and along the way hope to raise money for Cancer Research UK, in the hope that a cure can be found and prevent people having to suffer the loss of a loved one from this horrible disease.
