Story
Well here it is, I'm going for it again!!!
Even though I said repeatedly over and over "NEVER AGAIN, NO WAY" (maybe a few swears along with that🙊) after crossing that finishing line back in April it took me less than day to change my mind😂. It was a brutal 26.2miles and after getting injured and not running for 6 weeks beforehand it was always going to be much harder. The pain I felt in the final miles was a pain I've never felt in my life and could easily have thrown in the towel but I dug deep and powered through. Just walking from the finish to the charity after party was a huge task. It was a bit of an eye opener for me though, as it dawned on me that an MS sufferer like Dean will feel that level of pain on a regular basis so if I can push through for one event to help support this great charity then I can do it again and hopefully it'll be just as big a success🤞. To raise £11,000 was something I thought would be completely out of the question at the beginning. The support we were shown from friends, family and local businesses was unbelievable and it was great to see. I'm super proud of the way Dean has handled it all since the diagnosis, continuing to stay as active as possible and doing all he can and he never complains about it. There's hope for the future and with your help we can support the ongoing research that is constantly advancing with new treatments.
Any donations, small or large will be hugely appreciated once again. Thanks for reading😊🏃♂️🧡
