Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Back in 2009, I had my first seizure whilst very simply watching the Formula 1 on TV, and a second followed very soon afterwards. I was then diagnosed with Non-Photosensitive Epilepsy in the Winter of that year not fully knowing what caused me to have this condition and how it would affect my life moving forward. There are 600,000 people in the UK living with Epilepsy in one form or another, and to different severities. I am lucky that my condition is relatively mild and controlled through medication, but there are many people whose lives are hugely affected by the severity of their Epilepsy and require a great deal more support. The Epilepsy Society is a wonderful charity who are committed to raising as much awareness and funds to support those living with the condition across the country, and any donations, small or large, will go a long way to help.
