I will be doing four challenges this year. first is the
LINCOLNSHIRE WOLDS, SATURDAY 6 APRIL
We are exploring 25km of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering stunning landscapes and picturesque views. This charity hike will take approximately 6-8 hours.
SNOWDON, SATURDAY 18 MAY
Snowdon, or Yr Wyddfa in Welsh, is the highest mountain in Wales and a popular hiking destination in the UK. Nestled within Snowdonia National Park, the mountain is steeped in history and legend and offers incredible views of the surrounding landscape, we will take the Ranger's path up to the summit and the 18.3km trek is estimated to take 6-8 hours.
YORKSHIRE DALES, SATURDAY 3 AUGUST
The Yorkshire Dales offer some of the most stunning scenery in the UK. This circular 25km route will begin and end in the town of Sedbergh, taking an estimated 7-9 hours. The ascent on this trek will be approximately 1080 metres.
DARTMOOR, SATURDAY 14 SEPTEMBER
our Dartmoor Hike. I will begin and end our hike in the northern foothills of Dartmoor, the market town of Okehampton. Along the 25.9km route, we will encounter a variety of stunning landscapes, with an abundance of hills, fords, tors, woodland and rivers. Throughout the 7-9 hour hike, we’ll ascend a total of 810 metres. This will be my favourite hike of the year.
