Story

My best friend’s wife Philippa was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease almost ten years ago when she was only in her mid-thirties.

Huntington’s is a condition that leads to progressive degeneration of nerve cells in the brain that affects movement, cognitive functions, and emotions. There is no cure.

I used to find myself saying to Damion that things will get better, sadly, I realise they won’t. This cruel disease is slowly stripping his beautiful wife of the life she should have had and not to mention that he has to watch her go through this heart-breaking journey.

I know I can’t fix it, or make it better, but by running the London Marathon in aid of HD , I can try to raise awareness and funds that will help the research as well as lifestyle care for all those suffering with this condition. Which is why I am asking you to donate whatever you can to this worthwhile cause.

Thank you

Michael
