I am doing the Great North Run on the 11th September 2022 for the Maggies Centres. This is an amazing charity supporting families and those diagnosed with cancer.

My wife was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in July 2021 and has been receiving curative treatment since then.

We first encountered the Maggies Centre in Leeds when she was referred for radiotherapy and were blown away by the building, staff and the sense of peace and tranquility that was there at the centre from the moment of stepping through the door.

Staff are always on hand to talk, give counselling or advice on all matters relating to cancer and beyond. Their patience, understanding and assistance has no bounds!

It costs around £2,500 a day to keep the centre running, so literally every penny helps in keeping them going.
