We are taking part in the Donohoe + O'Flynn "70km Your Way in May" challenge to help the life-saving work done in the Heart Centre in CHI at Crumlin, which is supported by Children's Health Foundation. I am pushing myself with a target to walk 200km over the month. 

This fundraiser has a particularly close connection to my family, as my grandson Patrick, spent some time there in May 2021 when he underwent open heart surgery at just 4 months of age. The care Patrick received and the support my daughter, Michelle, and son in law, Brian, received from everyone they encountered in Crumlin Hospital was outstanding through every step of their journey.
